We were wondering when political groups and the mass media would recognize that Mitt Romney’s offices at 585 Commercial Street are his National Headquarters, not just a local office. The group may have caught on with a rally on Friday afternoon when about 25 demonstrators showed up to take advantage of the Bain news headlines reported by the Boston Globe.

Chants of “hey hey ho ho / Romney’s taxes have got to show!” were heard thanks to printed handouts, says neighbor Bob Skole who visited the scene. Bob pointed out to the demonstrators that the Brinks garage is across the street. The demonstrators did not appear interested in the potential metaphor of Romney’s headquarters looking out on the site of the Great Brink’s Robbery in 1950.

After delivering a letter to Romney headquarters, the group marched to the Boston Harbor Hotel at Rowes Wharf where Sen. Marco Rubio, a possible VP running mate for Romney, was hosting a fundraiser for the presidential candidate. Mitt Romney was not in the state today.
