Saturday, June 23, 2012 was the opening day for the Mirabella Pool, sometimes called the North End Riviera. Despite the partly cloudy weather, the pool was packed with residents anxious to start another summer in the sun.
As a bonus, the rain held off until later in the afternoon and the reward was this rainbow over Boston Harbor.
