Video: Nazzaro Center Youth Band performs the “Nazzaro Theme” and “Pipeline.”

This week was the annual music concert by the Nazzaro Center’s Youth Program Band, led by Music Director Jeremy Sarzana and Assistant Band Director Christopher Romano. The event was coordinated with the NEAD Scholarship Awards and Family Dinner. Also speaking to the audience was Police Captain Tom Lee. After the concert, North End Against Drugs selected the winners of their Scholarship Program. (See Nazzaro-NEAD Award 2012 Scholarships and Hold Year-End Music Concert.) Pizza, soda and dessert were served after the concert.

The Nazzaro Center is holding a coat drive through the month of October. New and gently used winter coats are needed for kids and adults. Drop off at the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 N. Bennet St., Boston 02113. The center is open 7 a.m. – 8 p.m.
