The keynote speaker at the 2012 Lantern Ceremony was General (Ret) Frederick M. Franks, Jr., commander of the VII Corps during Operation Desert Storm. Old North co-sponsored the 2012 Lantern Ceremony with Home Base Program. The Home Base Program is a collaboration between the Red Sox Foundation and Massachusetts General Hospital, serving the needs of returning veterans and their families.
