Dare to Dream Auction to Benefit the Education Fund

St. John School is the last Catholic School in Boston’s North End/Waterfront. St. John’s started from modest beginnings in 1895. Today, it boasts 210 students. Our students come from all economic, ethnic and religious backgrounds, but share a keen desire to learn. Yet, as a private school, St. John’s does not receive federal or state funds or any assistance from the archdiocese.

As we look to the future of St. John School, this major fundraising event will help us to establish the Education Fund. This fund will assist with tuition assistance and help with the escalating costs of education. Some of the funds raised will also be used for:

• Initiating the Rosetta Stone Language Program in Spanish and Latin for grades 3 – 8.
• Initiating a 3 year old program (furniture/supplies/educational materials)
• New enhancements to our technology lab (purchase of I Pads for grade 8 students).
