North End Friends of St. Francis House pulled off another successful flea market and bake sale to benefit the homeless shelter. Held at the Nazzaro Community Center, Mama Romano’s famous eggplant sandwiches didn’t last past the first day, leaving the delicious meatball and sausage sandwiches. There were tons of treasures in the flea market alongside homemade baked goods from throughout the North End.

Also the following stores have collection cans: Polcaris Coffee, Mangia Mangia, Green Cross Pharmacy, Hanover Street News, Hanover Wine & Spritis, Theo’s Cozy Corner Cafe, Convenience store on Salem St next to Virgilio’s Laundry.
