“The Masters” took the trophy in this year’s indoor bocce tournament as part of the North End Against Drugs “SKATE DATE” Event on Sunday January 29th at the Steriti Skating Rink on Commercial Street. This was the first year “The Masters” entered the tourney with members Paul Dipesa, Joe Mendola, Cathy and Ken Strum. Mikey “Fud” and Johnny Paolo ran the bocce tournament where four teams battled for the trophy. Proceeds from the $10 entry fee went to benefit NEAD programs for youth, teens and families throughout the year. (Click thumbnails to enlarge images.)
