As part of the North End Against Drugs “SKATE DATE” Event on Sunday January 29th at the Steriti Skating Rink on Commercial Street, NEAD will host an indoor Bocce Tournament. Cost per player is $10 and each participant will receive an NEAD T-Shirt. Space is limited so be there early to sign up. Proceeds of the event will benefit NEAD programs for youth, teens and families throughout the year.
Also as part of the event there will be a bake sale, performances by the Nazzaro Center Youth Band, Free Face Painting and as always free public skating. The event is from 2pm to 5pm. Johnny Paolo and Mikey “Fud” will run the tournament. You do not need to have a team to enter – just come down and play, teams will be made at the courts and trophies will be awarded to the winners.
