Eagle-eyed camera-phone photographer, Bruce McCue, walks by the Bank of America offices on State Street this morning and sees “Bomb Threat” signs on employee desks near the windows. To satisfy his curiosity, he goes in and asks what is going on.
“Those are our instructions if we have a bomb threat,” says an employee after which a floor manager comes over and takes them down.
As the location nearest and often targeted by the Occupy Boston protesters, perhaps Bank of America is getting a little nervous?
They are more afraid of a run on the bank. Read that the refused to let protestors who are BOA customers close their accounts. Claimed you could not be a customer and a protestor at the same time. Is that even legal?
If a BOA spokesperson told me the sun was shining, I'd go look out the window to see for myself.
