Saint Anthony’s Feast: Evening Procession (Video)

Watch the evening procession of the statue of San Antonio Di Padova Da Montefalcione from the Saint Anthony’s Feast held on September 4, 2011. At this late hour in the day, the statue of St. Anthony is quite a sight “loaded” with gifts and money. The bands are still going strong with some of the main stage entertainment also shown in this video. At the end of the video, the statue of St. Anthony returns to the society’s home on Endicott Street.

The event was postponed a week because of Tropical Storm Irene, but the St. Anthony’s Society organized a special feast day on Labor Day weekend.

Santa Maria di Anzano Procession Through Boston’s North End [Photos]
