Video: Tug of War and Dance of 20 Men at 2011 Saint Agrippina Di Mineo Feast

On Sunday evening at the 2011 Feast of Saint Agrippina Di Mineo, there was the traditional “Tug of War” between the two sides of the famous statue. Then, it was the “Dance of 20 Men” on Hanover Street which concluded with everyone dancing around Saint Agrippina. Both ceremonies are shown in the above video.

Former World Welterweight Boxing Champion Tony DeMarco came home this weekend to the Fisherman’s Feast in Boston’s North End to receive the 2011 Italian-American Award and release his new autobiography, “Nardo – Memoirs of a Boxing Champion.” The video above shows the award ceremony, Tony’s speech and a few other special guests.   1. This was very emotional for me. I haven't seen this in years and can't fight the feast crowds anymore. So glad to see it here and the young people keeping up traditions.
