D’ALELIO, Theresa (Guarino) Age 99, of Boston’s North End, passed away on Saturday, August 27, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Joseph D’Alelio; Loving mother of Joseph D’Alelio of Boston, MA; Dear sister of the late Josephine, Joseph, and Arthur Guarino. Cherished Aunt of Lisa Wetmore and husband Scott, Great Aunt of Jillian Sallee and husband Tom, Craig Wetmore and wife Jesse, and David Wetmore. She also leaves three loving grand nieces and nephews, Ryan Scott Sallee, Lily Frances Sallee, and Juliet Theresa Sallee. Aunt of Henry D’Alelio and family. Theresa worked for many years as a salesperson at Filenes. She was actively involved in her community, and served on the Board of ABCD (Action for Boston Community Development) in which she was named Woman of the Year in 1985. She also volunteered at the Nazzaro Community Center in the North End and was a member of the Third Order of Saint Francis. Funeral services will be held on Friday, Sept. 2nd, 2011 at 8:30AM at Boston Harborside Home, 580 Commercial St, Boston, followed by a 9:45 AM funeral mass at Saint Leonard Church, corner of Hanover and Prince Street, Boston.
