Effective July, 2011, North End Branch Librarian, Janet Buda, has accepted a promotion to head up the Dudley Street Branch of the BPL. The Friends recently hosted a reception in her honor to thank her for over 15 years of service to the North End community. While a permanent replacement for Janet has not been named, as an interim measure, Helen Bender, Branch Librarian of the West End Branch Library and Jennifer Hawes, Children’s Librarian will oversee the operation of the Branch.
