Boston.com Rolls Out North End Website

BostoncomNorthEnd

As part of its rollout of “Your Town” hyperlocal websites, Boston.com has released its North End website, along with sites for several other Boston neighborhoods. Boston.com is the web presence of the Boston Globe and owned by the New York Times.

Using a (free) strategy of featuring local blogs, NorthEndWaterfront.com articles are being included as links in its news feed. (Ed: NorthEndWaterfront.com is not receiving any compensation, nor were we contacted. However, the headlines link back to our site which is acceptable protocol.)

As if on cue, the first discussion topic is “Mike’s vs. Modern.”

  1. So far, I'm not impressed. Mike's vs. Modern? Way to break new ground, Boston.com! I'm sticking with NorthEndWaterfront.com for my neighborhood news.
