Strega Waterfront’s Opening Round-up

Building on the success of Strega Ristorante in the North End, Nick Varano opened Strega Waterfront on Fan Pier in the Seaport District. Here is a round-up from the opening of Strega Waterfront.

In the food section, Herald’s Kerry Byrne also writes up the opening in “Fast Food: On the waterfront, better for dunking and more…”

StregaGlobeOn the right, the Globe’s Jay Connor captures Varano and Palminteri with “feathered friends.”

Also on hand at the bash were Herb Chambers, Lenny Clarke, Chronicle’s Anthony Everett, Davio’s Steve DiFillippo, Sam Horn and George Regan.

A gallery of restaurant images is also shown on Strega Waterfront’s website. The restaurant is 4,000 square feet and the design was inspired by 1940’s era transatlantic passenger ships.
