PLEASE JOIN US FOR OUR 3RD ANNUAL HALLOWEEN FUNDRAISER PARTY.
It is a special fundraiser at The Knights of Columbus on 75 West School Street in Charlestown, MA on Saturday October 30, 2010 from 7:00 to 11:00 PM for beloved friend Robert T. Sorrentino, who at the age of four lost his battle to cancer.
The name of the fundraiser is “Sorrentino Stompers” because Robert loved the characters from Toy Story. A little boy who had so much to offer in life, his memory has never left our hearts nor my heart or mind since the moment he left us. He will always be remembered as a special gift to us. I can’t begin to explain the effect this one child has had on me. To try and understand the concept of a small child has to lose his life to this deadly disease. We continue each year to keep his memory alive and to donate all proceeds to the Jimmy Fund. There are many children and adults with cancer which the Jimmy Fund provides hope to worldwide.
Your support will help fund cancer research and treatment programs. Anyone that is interested to attend is WELCOME. There will be music, appetizers, prizes and raffles to help raise money for this event. Tickets will be sold at the door.
