Lucie Wicker is a North End-based photographer and recently did a photo project that involved sepia-toned close-ups of musical instruments.
“When I initially came up with the concept, I asked NEMPAC if I could use their instruments as my “models” and happily, they agreed.” NEMPAC is the neighborhood non-profit, the North End Music & Performing Arts Center (www.NEMPACBoston.org).
She added them to her Musical Notes Series and lists some of the prints from the project on Etsy.com which can be found at http://knight27.etsy.com.
