St. Leonard’s Peace Garden Adds Mural to Recent Renovation

St. Leonard’s Peace Garden on Hanover Street was recently underwent a major renovation by the parish. Adding to the renovation, local artist Nathan Swain installed a mural on the back of Assagio’s restaurant.

The greenery mural is printed with a photo Swain took at the Arnold Arboretum. Swain explains, “I approached the church and I also talked to Frank the owner of Assagio. They both liked the idea of covering the blank ugly wall with something green. I had Boston Building Wraps print and install the banner.” See the before and after pictures below.

  1. Finally walked past St Leonard’s and actually looked at the new Peace Garden. Looks great. The mural looks so real from Hanover St. Good job Nathan.
