Meredith P. sends in this photo of Boston Police pulling over a haz-mat truck on Commercial Street/Atlantic Ave. on May 26th. Residents report several incidents of haz-mat trucks not abiding by the reinstated daytime ban and re-routing off Commercial Street (at least until July 1st).

There is a public meeting on Wednesday, June 2nd, 6:30 pm at the Fairmont Battery Wharf Hotel regarding the haz-mat truck ban and re-routing. More information.

A neighbor sends in these pictures from Halloween night taken at 480 Commercial Street about 2am. Despite the massive response of 8 police cars and 5 firetrucks, there are no fire or police reports so it was probably just a false alarm.
