Valentine’s Day 2010 in the North End

St. Valentine’s Day is one of the classic days to enjoy the North End restaurants, many of which offer special menus for the occasion. This year, February 14, 2010 is a Sunday that also falls on Presidents’ Day weekend so it will extend the holiday from Friday through Monday.     Roasted Butternut Squash puree with fresh ginger $8.

    Polenta alla parmigiana
    Polenta layered with fresh mozzarella and basil, baked and topped with a velvety tomato cream sauce $11.

    Ravioli di spinaci
    Spinach and ricotta cheese Heart Shaped Ravioli in a mascarpone, sage cream sauce with asparagus, grape tomatoes and fresh chives $23.

    Surf ‘n Turf
    Pan roasted filet mignon wrapped in bacon with grilled lobster tail brushed with herb butter served with saffron orzo $30.
