City of Boston Ends The Snow Emergency (That Never Happened)

The City gave up waiting for the snow, issuing the following:

“Today’s declared snow emergency and parking ban that was in effect starting at 8AM today, February 10 will officially end at 6:00 p.m. today, February 10, 2010. Residents with storm-related questions or concerns can call the Mayor’s 24 Hour hotline at 617-635-4500.”

Did you miss it? At 6:00pm, plow trucks were waiting on Commercial Street. Here is a truck watching the dusting of snow on the sidewalk.
