Boston Police Issue Missing Person Alert – Long Wharf/Faneuil Hall Area

MISSING PERSONS ALERT:
BOSTON POLICE SEEK PUBLIC’S ASSISTANCE IN EFFORTS TO LOCATE MISSING PERSON
The Boston Police Department is seeking the public’s assistance in their efforts to locate a person who has been missing since February 20, 2010.

Sex: male
Age: 25
Race: white
Height: 5’11”
Build: muscular
Hair: blonde
Eyes: blue
Special Characteristics: wearing a black mid-length jacket, grey t-shirt, blue jeans, and black dress shoes.

Incident Description:
At about 11:30am, on Saturday, February 20, 2010, officers from Area A-1 (Downtown) took a walk-in report for a person missing (Eugene Losik) from the area of 296 State Street. According to the missing person’s girlfriend, Mr. Losik went missing sometime after 1:00am on Saturday, February 20, 2010. According to the girlfriend, they were celebrating a friend’s birthday at Sissy Kay’s Bar in Faneuil Hall. They left the bar at approximately 1:00am and returned to their hotel room at the Marriott Long Wharf at 296 State Street. Sometime after returning to the hotel, the girlfriend says her boyfriend decided to go out again.

Upon leaving the hotel, Mr. Losik met up with a friend from the party. According to the friend, they made their way back to Faneuil Hall, but, the friend says they didn’t stay long and soon returned to the hotel. The friend states the last time he saw the victim, Mr. Losik was standing in front of the Marriott Long Wharf.

According to the girlfriend, when she awoke the next morning, at approximately 6:00am, she discovered that her boyfriend was still missing. Upon discovering his absence, the girlfriend says she began searching and canvassing the area to no avail. When she attempted to call his cell phone, she got no answer. At the time of the incident, the victim was wearing a black mid-length jacket, grey t-shirt, blue jeans, and black dress shoes. She further reports that he had been drinking and was unfamiliar with the area.
