Trumpets will sound in the North End as the Old North Church holds its annual Christmas concert at 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 13, at 195 Salem Street.
The concert will highlight J.S. Bach’s masterpiece, Magnificat. The Old North Chamber Singers and Players will also perform works by Dietrich Buxtehude (Das Neugebor’ne [sic] Kindelein) and Morten Lauridsen (O Magnum Mysterium).
The church’s organist and music director, Dr. Libor Dudas, will conduct the ensemble.
