The Boston Herald talks to the North End Restaurateur Nick Varano about his planned opening of another Strega restaurant on Fan Pier. The new place will be almost three times larger than the Hanover Street location with 160 seats and 30 more at the bar. May 2010 is the opening date. The Herald concludes with a quote comparing the two neighborhoods from Varano, “The North End is the greatest neighborhood in the country.”
Good thing there is plenty of billboard space over there.
y denied Hauck’s move for a temporary restraining order to prevent the W Boston from using the “Living Room” name when it opened. He now has a preliminary injunction request pending before the court.
