Columbus Day Parade Route

columbusdayparadestockphotoThe Columbus Day Parade is on Sunday, October 11th in the North End. The parade alternates every year between East Boston and the North End. The parade starts at 1pm at City Hall Plaza and will end around Endicott Street at approximately 2pm.

Here is how the route will go:

  • 1:00pm City Hall Plaza – starting point for parade
  • Court Street to State Street, left to:
  • Atlantic Avenue
    Stops at Christopher Columbus Park – A wreath will be placed at the statue of Christopher Columbus.
    The park is a good watching spot and there will also be events and music there 12pm-4pm.
  • Commercial Street – Makes Left onto Battery Street
  • Hanover Street – good watching spot from Battery to Cross Street; Right onto Cross Street, right onto:
  • Endicott Street – good watching spot
  • Parade ends at approximately 2pm.

v  Endicott Street, both sides, from Cross Street to North Washington Street
v  North Washington Street, east side, fro Endicott Street to Causeway
Street, and west side, from Causeway Street to Medford Street
