New Website for North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC)

newnclogo-2The North End/Waterfront Neighborhood Council, NEWNC, has rolled out its new website at: www.newncboston.org.

There is also an email sign-up on the website for the distribution of agendas and announcements. The link is on the upper right of the main page or you can get there via www.newncboston.org/emaillist.

NEWNC does not have an August meeting, so the next meeting is Monday, September 14th. NEWRA (Residents’ Association) does have an August meeting on the 13th (and a summer party on the 19th … see the Calendar). You can see their website at www.newra.org for more information.

I wonder who is creating all these nifty neighborhood websites? It’s a conspiracy … I’m sure of it!

A revised proposal for the former St. Leonard’s rectory at 14 N. Bennet St. was opposed 5-4 by the North End/ Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC) during their monthly meeting on Monday evening. In the largest turnout of recent years, 314 residents came out to vote on Saturday, May 18th at the annual election for North End / Waterfront Neighborhood Council (NEWNC).
