The North End Athletic Association Youth Majors Baseball Program will be holding our annual all-star game on Saturday, June 24, at 6pm on Dom Campochiaro Field at Langone Park.
This year we will be honoring two people for their continued support of the North End Athletic Association (NEAA) and the youth of the North End: Pamela Donnaruma, publisher of the Post-Gazette newspaper, and the memory of James “Jimmy” Pallotta. The NEAA is very thankful for all that Pam and Jimmy – now through his family, have done for the NEAA.
The game will be played under the lights with the Pallotta Allstars squaring off against the Donnaruma Allstars! Please join us to not only honor these two worthy people, but also to honor the all-star players in our majors program.
We will have free pizza, soft drinks, and snacks for all the players, their families, and attendees of the game. We will also have a balloon person and maybe a few other goodies. There will be an awards ceremony with MVPs chosen for each team.
Also, as has been our recent tradition, at the conclusion of the game, we will give out awards to all the players in the youth majors program. We will also be giving out special awards – one per majors team – in honor of Uncle Fred Carangelo: League MVP, Pitcher of the Year, Rookie of the Year, and Sportsman of the Year.
If you would like to help sponsor this event, checks can be made out to the NEAA and you can call John Romano at (617) 750-9749, or email me at email@example.com to donate.
We hope you will all come and enjoy this wonderful family event.
