12:00pm Tony DeMarco at the Boston Garden – Exhibit at West End Museum
[150 Staniford St, Boston]  Running through October 25th, The exhibit will feature photographs of boxing champ Tony DeMarco’s many matches at the old Boston Garden. The former Welterweight Champion of the World, DeMarco grew up in Boston’s North End but cut his boxing teeth beginning at age 11 at the West End Boys Club. Free and open to the public during regular Museum hours. No registration required. 7:00pm RUFF Monthly Meeting at Nazzaro Center
RUFF – Responsible Urbanites for Fido will be hosting their monthly meeting to work on plans for the Blessing of the Animals, new dogs/member reach out and plans for RUFF Halloween. Additionally addressing some problem areas and what locations they may need, more signs and/or clean ups. Visit RUFF North End Facebook Page.

6:30pm Restrained Elegance: Boston Furniture in the Rococo Style
[Old South Meeting House: 310 Washington Street, at the corner of Milk Street, in downtown Boston] Paul Revere House: Bostonians in the mid-eighteenth century only cautiously embraced the lively international “modern” style that collectors have come to call “Chippendale” and art historians the “rococo.” Nevertheless, some Boston cabinet makers and carvers, such as George Bright, John Cogswell, and John Welch, created masterworks in this ornamental, curvilinear mode that owes its name to the Englishman Thomas Chippendale and his influential book of designs. More information.

Midnight (12am Friday) Public Safety Walk in North End
Area A-1 Police Captain Fong and NEWNC Public Safety Chair, David Marx, will be conducting a late night neighborhood walk through this Thursday night, 9/18/14, beginning @ midnight. 4:00pm HONK Jr Rehearsals Begin! Music Theatre Troupe
NEMPAC is seeking a props designer intern to work on their Fall 2014 Children’s Musical Production of HONK Jr! The production will have a minimal set, and their props therefore play a large role in the creation of each scene. The props designer will work with a minimal budget to create and design pieces that fit into our show. They will manage and bring props to each rehearsal. More information

10:00am Bocce Tourney – Taste of the North End at Langone Bocce Courts
Ten years ago, the Taste of the North End, began a new tradition on Boston’’s Historic Waterfront, its first annual Bocce Tournament at the Langone Bocce Courts to raise funds for scholarships and the North End community. The time has come again to come and enjoy a fun-filled day at the beautiful, waterfront bocce courts during our Tenth Annual Tournament. View Post

2:00pm Sunday Afternoon at the Park at Armenian Heritage Park on the Greenway
Meet & Greet with Emack & Bolio’s Ice Cream, live music, games for kids with a chance to win four tickets on a Boston Duck Tour. Ride the carousel, visit Christopher Columbus Park, North End, Faneuil Hall Marketplace, and the Waterfront. Email info@armenianheritagepark.org with any questions, this event is for all ages.
