Convenience store clerk at 7-Eleven store, Hanover St. and Commercial St., reports an unknown male suspect entered the store carrying a black handgun, jumped over the counter and threw the cash register onto the floor breaking it open. At this time, the suspect removed an undetermined amount of cash and fled on foot on Commercial St. Detectives to follow up with video surveillance.
