The men’s handicap toilet at the North End’s Mirabella Pool is broken, and not in a small way. It looks as if someone took a sledgehammer to it. When flushed, the water bursts out the side. The City has a contractor coming Thursday to repair or replace it. The Mirabella Pool closes next Tuesday, September 4, 2012 for the season. Photos courtesy of BCYF.

August 29, 2012 Update: The city’s plumbing contractor has replaced the toilet with a new one that is now operating.
