The City of Boston hosted two-dozen developers last week for a tour of the vacant pair of North St. buildings between the Greenway and Richmond St., according to Boston Business Journal’s Thomas Grillo.

Mentioned in the article is Pizzuti Development, where John Henry’s wife works.

Among the others who toured the facility or received the RFP included representatives from The Congress Group, Millennium Partners, Campion & Co., Urban Meritage LLC, Urbanica, the North Bennett Street School — which hopes to expand at the location and Otis & Ahearn.

So much for listening to what the neighborhood wants.

The “neighborhood” isn’t making any noise right now to stop this. Where is everyone?

Jennifer…other then the two letters from NEWRA and NEWNC I am not sure where everyone is and exactly what “the neighborhood” can do about this. I offered to help NBSS start an online petition favoring the sale to NBSS and a building swap so the ES could expand but the director thought it was premature and might hurt his chances.
