Fire Extinguished in Goody Glover’s Basement
Boston Fire Department responded to a fire in the basement of Goody Glovers Restaurant, 48-50 Salem Street, at 4:10 a.m. on Tuesday morning. The sprinkler was activated, but there were no injuries. The fire was extinguished and the building was ventilated for smoke. Food and electrical inspectors were requested to investigate the cause.

Male suspect was observed on camera by a security guard removing a hand drill from the motor vehicle parked next to his in a Commercial St. parking lot. Owner of vehicle returned to the lot removed his hand drill and secured his vehicle. Suspect to be summoned to court, video to be held as evidence.
