Caffe Vittoria at 290-296 Hanover St. was the winner of the May 2011 Good Neighbor Recognition Award from the Clean Streets Committee, part of the North End / Waterfront Residents’ Association (NEWRA). Restaurants and property owners are selected by the committee for keeping their sidewalk and gutters consistently clean of trash and garbage.

Last month, Lucca was presented with the Clean Streets Business Recognition award. Other nominees in May were G’Vanni’s, Galleria Umberto and Gennaro’s 5 North Square. A hand vote at the last meeting by committee members gave this month’s award to Caffe Vittoria.
