It feels like spring weather might really be here! It felt so nice putting my parka away this past week. It might rain this weekend for a little bit, but Saturday is going to be nearing 70 degrees. I think we are all ready for the warmer weather to stick around for good. Let’s see what you can do in the nice weather this weekend!

Hellboy Screening at Video Underground
The original Hellboy is being screened at the Video Underground. In one week, the reboot of the series will be released in theaters. If you wanted to see where the original version of the movie took the story, this is a great way to prepare before the new movie comes out!

Happy Place Boston
The Happy Place is a new exhibit coming to Boston this spring designed for you to be on your phone the entire time. Really! It’s encouraged for you to take photos of your friends surrounded by bright colors and fun props in multiple different sets. You’ll have to see it to understand how cheerful this place is.

“Slow Art Day” at the ICA
“Mindfulness meets art as we recognize Slow Art Day—an annual international event that celebrates art! Join an ICA educator for a museum visit that encourages slow looking through guided observation, discussion, and reflection. Tours at 1 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. Free with ICA admission or membership; no preregistration required.”

Plant Night at Brandy Pete’s
Brandy Pete’s is offering a planting night at their store. “Cultivate your creativity, naturally. Our gifted growers will guide you step-by-step as you make a mini Zen garden, succulent arrangement, or tiny terrarium. Dig in for two lively hours of planting, creating, and laughing with the group.”

Meatball Madness at Backlash Beer Co.
The phrase ‘Meatball Madness’ should be a selling point all on its own. Curated Cultura hosts the event this Sunday. They describe Meatball Madness as “an event where you can sample all different types of meatballs, including Italian, vegetarian and others. You’ll also get to enjoy beer from Backlash Beer Co.”
