Boston Community Collaborative (BCC) coordinated it’s first on-court opportunity for kids of the 2018-19 season at last Thursday’s Celtics home game against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Twenty-one lucky kids participated in the Celtics’ “Anthem Buddies” experience before the game. The kids got to line up in front of the Celtics for the singing of the National Anthem.
The game was a great one with the Celtics winning 117-113. Bucks player Giannis Antetokounmpo, also called the Greek Freak, had an excellent game. There was also a stunning surprise appearance by The World Series Champions Red Sox.
BCC is thrilled to be able to facilitate such cool opportunities for kids.
BCC was incorporated in 2013 and strives to create community by connecting people and resources.
BCC offers afterschool courses in Drama, Dance, Fitness, and Engineering for Smaht Kids for school aged kids in the North End, and weekday morning Movers and Shakers and Engineering for Smaht Kids classes for babies and toddlers at the West End Community Center.
