The North End Athletic Association (NEAA) had a Red Sox Fun Day last week at the Nazzaro Community Center for the children and seniors at the center.
NEAA gave out Red Sox Foundation shirts and hats to the children, left over from their Rookie League program. The kids also had hot dogs, chips, water and ice cream. NEAA provided the same food to the 30 seniors who met at the center earlier in the day for their weekly bingo game.
NEAA volunteer Mike Giannasoli, seated in the middle of the kids in the photo, donated all the food and helped cook and serve the guests along with NEAA coordinator John Romano. It was a fun afternoon for the kids and seniors.
