About the Concert Series at Bijou de la Vida: Originally the NEMPAC professional musicians series, this series was renamed after the discovery of a magical private art gallery owned by NEMPAC trustee and friend, Ramin Khostatefeh. In an artistic, intimate, inspiration setting, NEMPAC presents a concert featuring professional musicians in the Boston area, several of which are NEMPAC faculty members. Each event includes a lite wine and cheese reception prior to the concert program starting at 7:30 p.m. The series originated at the Old North Church in 2012 and has since grown into a professional musician series often featuring artists who are on the cusp of entering nationally or even world-wide career. The series provides an opportunity for community members to attend a high-level performance event at an affordable cost.
