The 98th St. Anthony’s Feast featured a 10-hour Grand Procession on Sunday bringing the statue of San Antonio to nearly every street in Boston’s North End. We showed you the beginning in an earlier post, and here is that last part of the procession through the neighborhood. Society members take turns carrying the saint and collecting ribbon donations. As day turns into night, the statue makes several notable stops including Caffe Paradiso and of course, Pizzeria Regina. At the end of the night, a grand finale with confetti raining down ends the Saint Anthony’s Feast. The “Feast of all Feasts,” as described by National Geographic, is organized by San Antonio di Padova da Montefalcione, Inc., also known as the St. Anthony’s Club. See more coverage of the St. Anthony’s Feast.
