Ask him about the details of his midnight ride, inquire about his 16 children, or engage him in conversation about his activities as a member of the Sons of Liberty. 6:00pm Laura Ventimiglia, book presentation – Letter to my Children. An inspiring story unfolds in this dual language book of the rich history, culture, and ties that bind and define a family of Italian descent, written through the unique perspective of a letter to the author’s children. 10:30am I Piccoli Lettori Join I AM Books for its Italian reading group for little ones! Children (0-4) and their parents will engage in multiple readings and games for a fun morning of Italian language and learning. Located at I AM Books, 189 North St, Boston.

1:00pm Paul Revere House: Patriot Fife and Drum. Enjoy a lively concert of music that accompanied colonists as they marched, danced, wooed their beloveds, and waged war. David Vose and Sue Walko provide fascinating insight into each selection they perform. 19 N Square, Boston, more information.

6:00pm Celebrating Poetry Month with Italian American Writers Assoc. Several poets and authors (including Maria Lisella and B Amore) will celebrate National Poetry Month along with I AM Books during this special event in collaboration with the Italian American Writers Association. Located at I AM Books, 189 North St, Boston.

Nazzaro Center and Firefighters are “One”  In observance of “One Boston Day” the children of the Nazzaro Center wrote letters, made thank you cards and posters, and baked cookies for our local fire department on Hanover Street. Pictured above is the group presenting all these gifts to members of the Hanover St. Hook and Ladder in the North End in recognition and thanks for all their services to the city. More information.
