Ray Santangelo Square was dedicated at the opening ceremonies of the Madonna Della Cava Feast in Boston’s North End. The veteran hero street sign was installed outside the former residence of Ray Santangelo on Hanover Street between Battery and Commercial Streets.

Boston Mayor Marty Walsh spoke at the dedication along with remarks by Stephen Passacantilli. Several family members also participated in the unveiling ceremony.

The annual feast honoring Maria SS Della Cava, Principal Patron of Pietraperzia, Sicily took place August 9 – 11 in Boston’s North End.
