Sgt. Yee from Suffolk Univ. PD now rides in the late-night party car from Thurs. – Sat. nights. He can be reached @ (617) 519-8986.
North End Public Safety meetings are held on the first Thursday of the month, 6:00 p.m., at the Nazzaro Community Center, 30 N. Bennet Street. All are welcome!
Bova’ Bakery is an ongoing problem, therefore this does not surprise me. Bova’s is one of the major
issues regarding Noise & now they are dealing with robberies. If anyone thinks that the 1 Police
Cruiser is going to cure the problems down the No. End, they are sadly mistaken. The more
Revenue the No. End takes in, the more problems will occur, and wait until the Summer, this is nothing.
“Sgt. Yee from Suffolk Univ. PD now rides in the late-night party car from Thurs. – Sat. nights.”
what is the late night party car?
Hi Jeb,
The late night party car is a roving police patrol throughout The North End that checks on problem properties known to police for noise-related complaints (due to loud parties, etc.) and also responds to real-time complaints of the same nature. BPD and Suffolk University Police conduct said patrol.
Said patrol runs Thursday through Saturday nights, from 11.45pm – 3.45am, while school is in session.
Hope this helps,
David Marx
