Yes, it’s Thanksgiving week! That means it is time to officially kick off the holiday season! 

Monday, November 23

5:00pm Trellis Lighting at Christopher Columbus Park
Join us and celebrate the new LED lights! The Friends of Christopher Columbus Park (FOCCP) will celebrate a Boston holiday tradition with the thirteenth annual lighting of the park’s signature trellises. Mayor Martin J. Walsh will preside over the trellis lighting ceremony, along with Boston Parks Commissioner Chris Cook. View the events post.

Tuesday November 24th / Wednesday November 25th

Traveling? Plan accordingly, Tuesday is the worst travel day in Boston, according to Google Maps.

6:00pm Light Up the North End Against Cancer
Join Boston’s North End Neighborhood as they Light Up New England. Please consider making a suggested donation of $10 per Luminaria to show your support of the fight against cancer. A luminaria is a bag, with a candle or glow stick inside it, that is personalized, view the event posting.
