Zili Misik has been bridging cultures, generations and continents for ten years. Powerful Haitan, Brazilian and West African rhythms infuse Zili’s original creations and traditional folk songs.
The festival features over 70 juried artists from Boston that will be exhibiting and selling their works 12-6pm Friday, Sept. 10th through Sunday, Sept. 12th. The performance program showcases Boston’s best performing arts groups and performers. There will also be art demonstrations and family activities with staff from the MFA, the Mayor’s Mural Crew, Diablo glass and 7 other arts groups. The full interactive schedule is:

Diablo Glass gives continuous demonstrations on the art of glassblowing, flameworking, fused glass and stained glass artwork.

Kyle Browne will share her art of alternative book-making, also known as “altered books.” This process touches upon environmental awareness through re-using and repurposing materials and of course creativity and imagination! Visitors will be encouraged to participate and make their own book or work on a collaborative book with other visitors.
