NEAA Senior Dodgers (21u) Capture First Place in Tompkins All-Star League

For the third year in a row the NEAA Senior Dodgers have finished in first place in the Lou Tompkins All-Star Baseball League. With one regular season game remaining the Dodgers are 14-2-1 and sit alone in first.

The Dodgers continued to live their philosophy of strong pitching, solid defense and timely hitting as they fought to the top of a very talented league. The Dodgers will roll into the playoffs in the hope of winning their second championship in three years.

The team is led by the one-two punch of Vin Lopriore and Greg Bilikas on the mound. The two combined to win 10 game and post a minuscule 1.19 ERA while striking out 81 batters in 65 innings. On offense Vin Lopriore and Mike Martignetti have carried most of the load. The two are both batting well over .400 and have combined to score 29 runs and drive in 21. If the Dodgers continue to play their game the sky is the limit.
