Front row left to right: Joan Figueroa, Jack Ditomassi, Ryan Carvalho, Vin Lopriore, Frank Iudiciani, Ricky Martignetti The NEAA Senior Dodgers (21u) fell short of their goal to repeat as champs of the Lou Tompkins All-Star Baseball League as they were tripped up in the semi-finals 3-2 to the eventual champs from Bedford.

The Dodgers were down 3-2 going into the bottom of the 4th and that was the way the game ended. The Dodgers continually put runners on base and threatened to score in every inning but they just could not get the big hit when needed most. The Dodgers left 2nd and 3rd in the 5th and 6th innings and had the tying run at 2nd base with two outs in the bottom of the 7th but could not push the run across. Although disappointed the Dodgers had a fantastic year going 17-1-2 in the regular season before losing in the semi-finals.

The Dodgers would like to thank all those who made the season possible. Sponsors of the team included: NEAA, NEAD, Regional Review, Gary Pedi and Lavanderia, Richie Longo and The Corner Café, and State Representative Aaron Michlewitz.
