As Roseann Sdoia continues her recovery from a serious injury in the Boston Marathon bombings, many have reached out to the North End resident including several celebrities. New England Patriots Tight-End, Rob “Gronk” Gronkowski, stopped by as did actor Kevin Spacey and several Red Sox players. See more photos at the Recovery Fund page where more than $330,000 has been raised to date.
Roseann has also shared her story with ABC News 20/20 correspondent, Deborah Roberts. In the interview, she talks about her “guardian angel.”
“[A man] picked me up and dragged me to the middle of the street,” she said. “And he took his belt off and did a tourniquet on my leg. I told him I couldn’t get up, I couldn’t get out of there because, ‘I don’t have a leg, I don’t have a leg.’ I don’t know who he is. We’ve been looking for him.” Sdoia described him as a dark-haired man in his mid-20s, wearing a dark or navy-blue long-sleeved shirt, blue jeans and a brown belt. Sdoia believes she would have died had it not been for the quick work of her “guardian angel.” Read more ABCNews.com.
The man that helped Roseann has been identified according to an update after the interview, although his name is not being released publicly.
The Boston Globe also included Roseann in their series on the victims:

She grew up in Dracut, earned a degree in business administration at UMass Lowell, and has amassed so many close friends over the years, according to her sister, “that I don’t think the hospital intensive care unit has ever seen so many people.” Read more at BostonGlobe.com.
