Last month, city councilors discussed concerns about pedestrian safety at their regular council meeting. As Boston becomes more developed, there are more vehicles as well as more pedestrians. The 106th Fisherman’s Feast kicked off this weekend in Boston’s North End on North, Fleet and Lewis Streets. The statue of La Madonna Del Soccorso di Sciacca emerged from her permanent chapel for a solemn procession to Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park for the Annual Blessing of the Fishing Waters.
