The 19 and under NEAA Dodgers rode strong pitching and explosive hitting to wrap up the wood bat regular season undefeated with a 6-0 record and became the number one seed for the playoffs. In their wins the Dodgers outscored their opponents 38-2. The starting rotation of Greg Bilikas, Mike Martignetti, Vin Lopriore and Mark Fusco were completely dominant on the mound as no starter gave up more than 4 hits in any one game. The Dodgers also flashed their trademark airtight defense making all the plays whenever they were called upon. In addition to their pitching the all-around play of Joan Figueroa, Nick Iudiciani, Bob Mello, Ryan Carvalho and Rick Martignetti keyed the Dodger’s dominance. Next up for the Dodgers is the playoffs and a semi-final match-up with the Boston Padres.
