NEMPAC’s Summer Concert Series on Thursday, August 16th was held in the Old North Church and featured three very talented, piano students (Sarah Connolly, Grace Connolly, and Carlo Crocini). Following the student performers, the Cambridge Chamber Singers (a group of ten singers from all areas of Boston) performed a self-directed choral concert featuring 15th and 16th century polyphonic choral music. Our piano instructor, Rachel Carpentier, was a part of this ensemble and NEMPAC was thrilled to welcome them to the community for a concert open to the public. The group joins us again at the Old North Church on Friday, October 19th to open our Free Winter Concert series.
