Arthur A. Lauretano sends in this letter written by Fr. Thomas Nicastro OFM, former teacher and principal of Columbus High School in the North End. Fr. Tom taught from 1946 to 1949 and was principal from 1949 to 1964. He is presently 93 years old and living in an assisted living home for priests in Catskill, NY. Arthur noted, “I believe when you read this letter you will find it amazing that a 93 year old could write such a moving letter.”
